We had our first Victory’s Road Study group session this evening and there was great input. We talked about how we sometimes limit ourselves in accepting, receiving or trusting God’s Love for us. We also talked about how important it is to know His love and in fact, it is possible to know the greatness of His Love for us. He wants us to love others dearly in the same way that He has loved us. He even wants us to love those who are hard to love and He gives us the ability to do so. We want to give Him our all like we do with people that we love. We talked about how everyone’s demonstration and measure of love can be impacted by our upbringing. So much great input!

We also discussed John chapter 1, that in Jesus is life and that life is the light of men. He is our life, our new life and we’ve taken off the old for the new. Now we live for Him, the One Who is our very life.

Last night I forgot to mention that I’m planning on adding these scriptures to week one of the workbook: 1 John 1:1-2, 1 John 5:12.

Here is a question we did not get a chance to discuss. I would like to know  how others considered this in day to day life:

Now that we are aware of our great love by God, what are we now to do?
